With 100 playful, forward-moving prompts, this book pushes you to disrupt routines, spark curiosity, and turn “someday” into today.

Part journal, part challenge, it dares you to shake up the ordinary, discover adventure in the everyday, and start living like you mean it.

Because life won’t change until you do.

It all started with research! Exploring how color affects emotion and flipping through countless books, finding inspiration in the details of each page.

The first few rounds of iterations were a bit too decorative. After feedback from my professor, I had to step back and really think about why I was adding elements like the stars and what purpose they actually served in the design.

After revisiting my research, I decided to experiment with a two-toned color system. I asked friends and family for feedback on different color combinations.

To my surprise, most of them preferred the orange option. Based on that response, I redesigned several interior pages and recolored the entire book to reflect that choice.

I initially thought the colors complemented each other well and conveyed a sense of self-confidence and excitement about change. However, the palette started to feel a little too “Halloween,” which left me feeling discouraged.

While others in my class were moving on to phase two of their books, I was still stuck deciding on color. After taking a few days away from the project, I came back with fresh eyes and ultimately decided to return to my original palette of blue with just a hint of orange.

Moving forward, I plan to continue iterating on the spreads and gradually introduce more of the orange asterisk as a guiding element throughout the book.
